Shazzrah, we thought we knew ye

Filed under: News — Lauran @ 11:22 pm

Wow. Helluva week. I’m absolutely delighted to let you all know that Fates Requiem took down Shazzrah tonight, and nearly managed golemagg as well (28%). It was Nabisco Core night in Molten Core, and in addition to the free colorful program, we found 6 lava cores and 7 fiery cores, a new Fates record! Congratulations to Volas for our first Hunter drop in ages, the Giantstalker’s Gloves; to Viimoons for the Sorcerous Dagger, and well, yeah, I got another piece of Cenarion — the Cenarion Belt (druids, apply please!). Oddly, no one asked me if they could smoke my belt…

I forgot to take a screen, but Hesh provided:

Also have to link this great screen VII sent me, of the moment just after the kill.

And now, the usual recruitment spiel…

If you are interested in joining us in Molten Core and other places throughout Azeroth, we are currently accepting applications for membership. You can learn more about applying to Fates Requiem, but be sure to understand and agree with our guild rules prior to applying. If you’re friends with or have frequently partied with someone in FR, be sure to ask them to recommend you for membership.

We’re comfortable on most of our classes right now, but we are looking to recruit a couple of experienced, capable level 60 Druids. We are full on all other classes. You can read more about our recruitment needs here.

Fire Bad! Fire Bad! Fire… out!

Filed under: News — Lauran @ 11:43 pm

We’re quite pleased to announce that on our second attempt at Baron Geddon, we succeeded in defeating him… one of the most entertaining fights we’ve yet experienced in Molten Core.

I’d like to congratulate Bimpwick on tonight’s Arcanist Crown, Arjorn on his Lawbringer Helm, and Smauls on his shiny new bloodstained Brutality Blade from Garr; and to Eelix on the Arcanist Mantle, and … well, I can’t rightly congratulate myself, but hey, people read this for the loot, so I’m a walking chia pet now, with the bushy Cenarion Spaulders, from Geddon.

FR Rocks the Rock

Filed under: News — Lauran @ 2:05 am

We’re quite pleased to announce that on our second attempt at Garr, we’ve reduced him to a small pile of rubble and three purple items. Congratulations to Ashram on his Drillborer Disk, Velas on the Aurastone Hammer (I want one! I want one!) and to Kaide for the Arcanist Crown. (to see a complete listing of drops, view our raid listing.)

With the start of the new school year, we’ve found ourselves a bit short on players as the night progresses, so we’re looking to recruit several experienced, capable level 60 members of the following classes: Druid, Priest, Paladin, Mage, Warlock and Hunter. We are full on Rogues and Warriors. You can read more about our recruitment needs here.

Also — Belated congratulations to Holy Carnage and Muteki, for taking down Ragnaros after many months of hard work. And fresh congratulations to Evil Empire, the first guild on the server to defeat the first two bosses in Blackwing Lair. Finally, congratulations to Azieru, Eonar’s first PvP Grand Marshall. It’s been a good month on Eonar, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!

FR: 1 — Gehennas … err, let’s not go there. He’s dead, ok?

Filed under: News — Lauran @ 10:11 pm

We’re delighted to announce that on our second attempt at Gehennas, we’ve managed to remove him from the MC Roster. Our first attempt earlier this week wiped at 1% twice, but this time we pulled through, on our first Fates Requiem only run in Molten Core. We’d like to congratulate Elenion on his Crimson Shocker, and Lacto on his Gloves of Prophecy.

Welcome to our new members, and welcome home to the old joker who finally came back… and great work, guys!

Holy spec paladins with excellent healing gear and skills are of interest.
